Farren Monet Daniels was born in Malibu, California to child actor-turned-writer/director/producer, Kevin Brodie and actress/model Joanna Dierck. She is the third generation of actors in her family, and spent most of her childhood growing up on movie sets. Her grandfather, Steve Brodie, starred in numerous films and television shows. Farren had her first taste of film-making at the age of seven, when her father, Kevin, put her in charge of calling "action" on one of his films, as well as featuring her in small roles. She went on to study with profound acting coach Ivana Chubbuck for her first lead in the Warner Brother's film, A Dog of Flanders (1999), alongside Jon Voight and the late Jack Warden. After wrapping, she returned to school to finish her studies and be a normal kid, but could not stay away from her love for acting, participating in all of her school's theater productions, including "The Music Man" and "Peter Pan", where she landed the roll as "Wendy Darling".
