Actor and playwright Francesco Brandi was born in Legnano on December 20th, 1982. Brandi graduated the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in 2007, and went on to work with well known Italian directors, such as Pupi Avati, Ettore Scola, Nanni Moretti, Andree Ruth Shammah, Carlo Virzi, Massimo Venier, and Carlo Mazzacurati. In 2018, Francesco was won the Franco Enriquez Prize for his play 'Buon anno ragazzi,' and was nominated for the Maschere del Teatro Prize in 2019 for Best Emerging Author.
