Biography
Fraser James MacLeod
Fraser studied drama growing up in Newcastle in the north of England and followed it up by studying theatre at the University of Derby. After a move to Sweden, further studies at Malmö University and a teaching career, Fraser turned his passion for the arts into a promising career in the arts.Recent theatre outings have seen Fraser play the lead in a one-man "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens, the new play "Bothwell, Prisoner of Malmö" - written by himself, and "Iphigenia at Olympus" by Ajius. He has directed, amongst others, Anton Chekhov's "The Boor", Ira Levin's "Deathtrap" and Anthony Shaffer's "Sleuth", as well as making star turns in "The Pavilion" by Craig Wright and Eric Bogosian's "SubUrbia", directed by Kasper Sejersen.Moving increasingly into film, he can be seen in Lasse Hallström's new biopic "Hilma", as well as the multi award-winning short film "Anti-Utopia" by Michael Roth.
