Garcia Brown was born in Kingston, Jamaica and grew there until she was 2 years old. Her mother Alicia who was also born on the island left with her young daughter and set off to the UK. Garcia lived in Camberwell, London, England with her mother until she was 5. They then moved to Old Trafford, Manchester, England where Garcia spent her early years growing up.
