I believe the current generations of filmmakers have fallen into a conventional method of storytelling, everything is a comedy, or a romance, or a western, or what have you. It's lazy, you know? We don't have as many writers or directors willing to push the limits of storytelling anymore. My goal is to craft a filmography that fully explores the different ways the art of film can tell stories. Genre is meant to be broken. It's the most important thing a storyteller needs to know, I will fight that statement to the end.

Garrett M. Ryan
Garrett Ryan is an actor, writer, and director who has worked in film, television, and theater. Starting acting in the late 2000's with community theater projects, Garrett soon became interested in perusing a career in film and television. Since then, Garrett has appeared in a variety of films and television shows, while still participating in many stage plays in his home town of North Bay, Ontario. Garrett has written many screenplays, one of which (Undertaking Red) is being adapted into a film that he is directing.
