Gary was born in Sydney, Australia in 1986. He attended Screenwise after leaving high school and then completed a Bachelor of Dramatic Art - Acting at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in Sydney. He has appeared in numerous stage productions as well as independent feature films and commercial television. In 2014 he founded Sundown Picturehouse with two colleagues and they are currently in production for a web series titled 'Shit Creek'. He holds a European passport along with his Australian one.
