Gary Foo was born in London England in 1966 to an English mother and Chinese father. He is a full Canadian ACTRA actor and British Actor's equity member known for stunts, fight choreography, producing and directing - especially action scenes. He is also a musician and accomplished martial artist and instructor.Although he started his acting as a teenager he has a family background in the emergency services and military which shaped his early professional career choices. He served as a sworn Police officer in two countries, is a Paramedic and Tactical Combat Medic and a Rescue Technician.He is also the SAR Chief of The United Nations recognized international disaster response team; The Emergency Response Team Search and Rescue, AKA ERT Search and Rescue, (or ERT SAR) and has led medical and rescue missions in disasters all over the world.He is married to Virginia who was also a Police Officer, now a nurse, and they have two children.
