Gina D. Brewer was born to Gene who retired from the Air Force and Joy who was a cake decorator and later became an actress herself. Gina was born in Tulsa, OK and raised in the small southeastern Oklahoma town of McAlester. While in high school she was in drama and church drama which opened her love for acting. She then went on to Oklahoma Baptist University where she studied makeup design, script writing and acting. From there Gina went to the University of Central Oklahoma where she studied broadcasting and acting. She was a producer at a local news station before becoming an actress.
