Gregg Lowe
Gregg was born on 25th January 1990 in the small seaside town of Great Yarmouth on the East coast of England. The youngest of 4 children to his father Larry Lowe from Oakville Ontario and his mother Janice Lowe from his Native Norfolk.Showing an early interest in the arts at 5 years old Gregg began singing and acting with the local drama society. It wasn't long before he was swept up in to the West End, in 1994 at the age of 8 he began his professional career starring in Peter Pan at the Cambridge Theatre in London's West End and Uk tour.Throughout his youth he continued to perform in theaters both locally and nation wide with the NYMT and other companies, The Edinburgh festival,Royal festival hall and the Royal Opera house to name a few.At the age of 16 Gregg moved permanently to London where he studied Drama and Musical theatre at the Arts Educational Schools of London. On graduating he immediately joined the International tour of Mamma Mia in 2003 playing the role of Pepper, Traveling to 14 countries world wide including china, the middle East and Europe. He then played a season at the West Yorkshire Playhouse in Style and Drews PeterPan. Greggs career took an intentional turn away from musical theatre in 2008, eager to pursue a stronger Acting path he starred in the title role of the play "New Boy" at the Tabard theatre. The play was quickly picked up and transferred to the WestEnd in early 2009 where the cast would include Nicholas Hoult and Melanie Geidroyc at the Trafalgar Studios. Staying at the Trafalgar Studios in 2009 Gregg starred in "Wolf Boy" an adaption of the Brendan Fraser play, and his first TV appearances in "Doctors" (BBC) "Genie in the House" (Nickelodian) and the acclaimed short film "Lorraine" for NFTS After seeing his performance in WolfBoy director Trevor Nunn offered Gregg a role in the original cast of 'BirdSong' at the comedy theatre, London,in which he would portray the young Soldier "Tommy Tipper".2011 was spent traveling back to the East where Gregg pursued his love of exploring,cultural studies and Eastern philosophy. Studying Buddhist thought at Tibetan and Thevadan monasteries in Nepal and Thailand.In 2012 work took Gregg to Canada where he relocated for a short time. Whilst there he appeared in "The Spies of Warsaw" starring David Tennant (BBC), "Warehouse 13" (SiFi), "Beauty and the Beast" (CW), Bomb Girls (Global),Murdoch Mysteries and in 2013 Gregg was chosen to portray the role of the mutant Ink in Bryan Singers greatly anticipated Xmen Days of future past. Gregg is also a proficient Voice Over artist and has worked extensively for Oxford and Cambridge Universities as well as on projects such as "The Hussle", "Private Peaceful" and Harry Potter, and has devoted much of his time recording books for the Royal National Institute for the Blind. He divides his time between Toronto, London and Los Angeles.
