James Daffern was born in 1972 in Wolverhampton and is the youngest of three children. In his late teens he began performing as a singer-songwriter in various bands to widespread critical acclaim. In 1999 he attended the Birmingham School of Acting and after graduating he subsequently moved from his hometown and now lives in London. He has appeared in several long running TV series including Casualty, Holby City, Emmerdale and many cutting edge British dramas such as Spooks and Hunted.
