James Chick was born in Northampton (UK) in 1989. As a child he traveled to and lived in many different countries due to the nature of his parent's work. In 2009 James moved to Amman, Jordan, and began his film career there in late 2011. His first role was in Canadian production Inch'Allah (2012), as a friend of the main characters, Chloe and Ava, and soon after he played a Jihadi Freedom fighter in German production Father is Doing Fine (2012). Zero Dark Thirty (2012) saw James as both a Blackwater Operative and a US Navy Seal, alongside his off-set position as a casting coordinator. His final role in Jordan was in May in the Summer, after which he moved to the UK, and has since been cast as the doctor's assistant in a new production. In addition to his acting roles, James has also worked casting extras.
