Jan Caruana
Jan Caruana is an actor, writer, teacher and director. A graduate of the University of Toronto and Sheridan College Theatre Program, Jan's career has been interesting and varied. She is a multiple Canadian Comedy Award winner and has performed across North America in a variety of comedy shows. Jan is a mainstay of many Toronto comedy stages and an alumni of the Second City Toronto. She is a is a Gemini/Canadian Screen Nominated writer for her work on City TV's Sunnyside and the YTV youth sketch show That's So Weird, creating some of the series most memorable and colorful characters. Jan is also an accomplished writer for the stage adapting works such as Douglas Coupland's Life After God for UNI Theatre, as well as writing, and starring in, her own (obligatory) one-woman show.
