Jay Clift is one of Canada's most sought after and celebrated theatre performers. Since graduating from Vancouver's prestigious theatre conservatory, Studio 58, Jay has not stopped working collecting a nearly unprecedented twenty-two professional theatre credits from every major city in the country. Jay is a two time nominee and one time winner of the Jessie Richardson Theatre Award. In 2014 Jay was recognized with the prestigious, Sam Payne Award for his achievements in Canadian Theatre.Jay won the first position lead in the Peabody Award winning director, Leon Lee's 2016 feature film, The Bleeding Edge. This fascinating thriller shed light on the Chinese Falun Gong Society and their extreme and horrific persecution and by the Chinese communist party. Shooting the film in Vancouver and Shanghai was a potentially dangerous proposition that Jay was excited to take on. The Bleeding Edge was the recipient of the 2016 Gabriel award and is now being distributed around the world on iTunes and Amazon.
