Jay Pennington was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. As a child his parents also owned a small cabin in the Texas hill country where he spent most weekends and summers developing a love for the outdoors and riding horses. At age 7 he started watching PBS' Classic Foreign and US Cinema which made a lifelong impression for great films. As a teenager he was a regular attendee of the Olmos Theater which showed classic American and foreign films on a 3 day rotation. Outdoors and the love & study of great films. At 6 ft 3 with blue eyes and long graying hair, Jay takes on any quality role - 1880's Westerns, period pieces such as Vikings era, Civil War etc, modern day love interest, heroes & villains and also Texans of all eras - heroes and gritty characters. Today he lives in the Texas hill country on acreage adjoining other ranches - riding horses regularly and with an obsession for acting of any needed but quality character.
