Jeff Kerr is an Austin-based filmmaker raised in Houston, Texas. After earning an engineering degree from Rice University in 1979 he attended medical school at Texas A&M. Twenty years into a career as a pediatric neurologist, Kerr authored several books, including the award-winning "Seat of Empire: The Embattled Birth of Austin, Texas." Film credits include the documentary The Last of the Moonlight Towers and the feature thriller "Writer's Block."Jeff lives in Austin with his wife Sharon.
