Born in Croydon, to a mother from Liverpool and raised with a musician in the merchant navy. She has three younger sisters by him, who are also talented in the arts. She is best known for her work in the film I Against I playing mother to the real son of the films director James Marquand, son of Richard Marquand, director of Return of the Jedi. Graduated from drama school Arts Ed London in 2005 performing in plays by Harold Pinter, Noel Coward,Shakespeare, favorites being restoration period dramas. Before that she attended the BRIT School in 2002, graduates include Adele and Amy Winehouse. Her debut performance was in the comedy horror film Doghouse, starring Danny Dyer and BAFTA award winner Noel Clarke. Then went on to star in the drama documentary Peter- A Study For A Portrait Of A Serial killer. Which is based on the Yorkshire Ripper. It went to film festivals and won several awards including best foreign film at the 2012 Alaska International Film Awards, Best feature category Royal Reel award at the 2012 Canada International Film Festival, Honourable Mention award at the 2011 Los Angeles Art-House film festival and won a Palm at the 2011 Mexico International Film Festival. She then became a member of the multi-award-winning director Rikki Beadle Blairs company Team Angelica. Playing roles in the original casts of stage and film productions written and directed by the man himself. She trained in the martial art Wing Chun Kung Fu, wanting to be an action performer and would love to do action adventure films. She played supporting role to lead actress in the feature Pearls of Africa and working on the thriller The Offering. Will start filming her first international film Tubular Romance in Toronto next year.
