Jenna Ruiz born in Indianapolis, Indiana had her first T.V. appearance as a semi-finalist for the "Today Show" Kid Reporter contest in 2009, placing in the top 16 of 30,000. After experiencing the magic of being on set, Jenna's heart was set on the arts. She returned to Indianapolis and began pursuing her acting career by starting classes and learning the craft. Soon after she was booked in her first commercial. Still working hard attending acting classes and honing her craft, Jenna had the opportunity to work as background for the feature film "Learning to Fly"(2012) and Showtime's T.V. series "Shameless"(2012) appearing in the final scene of the premiere episode of the second season "Summertime"! Jenna was finally given the her big break to act as 'Missy' in "Gila!", directed by Jim Wynorski and produced by Bill Dever. "Gila!" is a remake of the 1959 "The Giant Gila Monster", slated for Fall 2012 release on the Syfy Channel.
