Jeremy Burnham is a British actor-writer. Trained at the Old Vic School, he appeared in many West End plays, including 'Hippo Dancing', 'A Passage to India' and 'The Rehearsal'. He is the only person to have both appeared in and written for the cult TV series 'The Avengers'. He has also written for many other British TV series, including 'When the Boat Comes In', 'Minder' and 'Inspector Morse'. He is perhaps best known as the co-author of 'Children of the Stones', another cult TV series in the nineteen-seventies. He has recently ( July 2013) published a sequel, 'Return to the Stones'.
