Jessica Boss was born in Harlingen, Texas of Nigerian descent. In high school, she studied medicine in hopes to become a medical doctor. In the eleventh grade, she had two elective options: art or theater. Because she only had the ability to draw stick figures, she decided to take theater, and to her surprise, fell in love with it! Her teacher encouraged her to keep working hard because he saw a spark. That spark soon turned into a decision to quit medicine and pursue a career in acting.After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, Jessica moved to Los Angeles to pursue a professional career as an actress. She is acting in and producing the upcoming film, "Anonymous 616." As a sex trafficking activist, Jessica was inspired to use her voice for the voiceless and has set her focus to act, write and produce her own original work, "Ijeoma's Tale," a fictional narrative feature film about a young, poor Nigerian hairstylist who is promised a better life in Europe, only to be tricked and sold into the world of sex trafficking, where she fights to survive and put away her predators.
