Jim was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After graduating cum laude from Northeastern University, Jim attended law school at Fordham University in New York City where he received a juris doctorate. Jim has been licensed to practice in five states and has actively practiced law in Pennsylvania, Florida, New York and California.Jim first studied acting in Orlando, Florida to enhance his trial skills. Over forty jury trials later, Jim still finds acting to be a creative outlet from the rigors of trial work. It has also allowed him to expand his entertainment law practice through the many connections he has made. When his schedule has allowed, Jim's friends in the entertainment business have asked him to appear in film or TV roles, usually playing a cop or a lawyer.
