Often mistaken as being from Long Beach, Long Island, this California native is no stranger to the stage. Joanna started performing in theater at a young age and still stays true to her background; though has been enjoying the natural evolution of moving to the screen. Her mother, an accomplished pianist and music teacher and her father a high school teacher. Her brother is also a strong participant in the arts.
