Joanna Kay grew up in Omaha, Nebraska before obtaining her BA in Anthropology and Classics at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. After/during a bout of travel, she earned her MSc in Forensic Anthropology from the University of Central Lancashire in England. She used her education to become a Crime Scene Investigator II and Forensic Anthropologist until she realized that she would rather play one on TV.She has been a long time admirer and appreciator of dogs, actors, and delicious things. Becoming an actor is the most attainable of the aforementioned list, so here we are. Joanna moved to San Francisco, CA in 2012 and has since been involved with independent film projects, commercials and industrials, voice over work, theater, television, stand-up comedy, and print projects. She is a student at The Beverly Hills Playhouse SF and has written this bio in 3rd person.
