Joanna Tu is a newly emerging actor born and raised in Perth, Western Australia. Her mother is Vietnamese and her father is Vietnamese-Chinese, both had migrated to Australia as refugees. She graduated from WAAPA Bachelor of Arts (Acting) in 2020. Some of her acting highlights include, Justine in 'Iggy and Ace,' produced by SBS and Screen Australia for SBS on Demand and Odette in the short-film 'Peanut' (2021) produced by the WA Screen Academy, in which she won the WA Screen Academy Award for Outstanding Performance (Acting).Joanna is passionate about telling stories and embodying characters with heart.
