Joe Ballent is an American actor and musician. His first appearance on the silver screen was as a reporter in Disney's The Lone Ranger, for which he attended an open casting call on the suggestion of a friend, and after which he further indulged his love of the acting experience by signing with an agency. Training and auditions soon led to independent film work and a SAG national commercial run. He is a multi-instrumentalist and amateur luthier who plays music under the moniker Burn Atlas, for which he has been a performer at Sundance Film Festival. Joe is fascinated by medical science and got his EMT certification followed by coursework in anatomy, physiology, and microbiology. His checkered resume includes whitewater river guide, candy store clerk, residential treatment assistant, and warehouse worker. Joe is a romantic by choice, an outlaw by demand, and is standing right behind you.
