John Dewsbury was born on January 17th 1962, as John Anthony Smith, to John Michael and Margaret Smith (nee Dewsbury) in Northwich, Cheshire, England. He was educated at Sir John Deane's Grammar School in Northwich and after various jobs found his way on to a Casting Agency in Manchester, he has appeared in several films and quite a lot of TV dramas and soap operas. Always looking for the next role, John has an open mind when it comes to acting. He has also appeared in a number of commercials e.g. Bet 365, Sky Sport, The Car People, Right Move and Nivea for Men, where he appeared along side James Milner, Robbie Firmino and Steven Gerrard, being a life long Liverpool FC fan this was a job that he would have paid his agent to have!
