John Greene is the artistic director of the Young Artists Repertory Theatre Company in Martinez, GA (outside of Augusta). He has appeared as a stage actor with local theatre companies and is a former member of Georgia's 3 Tenors. He is a classically-trained tenor. He has won local theatre awards for acting and directing. Many of his "Yartists" have gone on to appear on network television and on Broadway. He considers the late actor, Richard Kavanaugh, to be his mentor having appeared with him in a production of The Music Man as Winthrope Paroo to his Harold Hill.
