John's career began in New York as an actor and a stuntman. As co-founder of the theater troops, Group Productions and Frayed Knots he produced original plays for almost three years in the Hells Kitchen area theaters. On his first film (Izzy & Moe), he had the pleasure to work for director and Oscar-nominee Jackie Copper. Oscar nominee Jackie Gleason and Oscar winner Art Carney were the stars of the film. So far he has also had the good fortune to work with the following Oscar winners or nominees ;two time Oscar nominee David Fincher ,Oscar Winner and 4 time Emmy Winner Aaron Sorkin, 2 time Oscar Winner Ron Howard, Oscar Winner and 3 time nominee Brian Grazer, 5 time Oscar nominee Sidney Lumet, Oscar nominee Alan Alda, 2 time Oscar Winner & 2 time nominee Jodie Foster, Oscar Winner Tony Bill, and Oscar Winner and 2 time nominee Billy Bob Thornton.
