Born and raised in Chicago, IL. During high school acting class at Loyola Academy, a talent scout requested that John audition for a lead role in an upcoming movie 'Rushmore' starring Loyola Academy alum Bill Murray.John did not pursue a career in acting until years later. He went on to study political science at DePaul University where he graduated in 2002. His family has been entrenched in local and state politics for over fifty years.While taking courses in an MBA program at DePaul, he worked at a theatre and took improv classes at night. In 2007 he landed a job working as a casting assistant on 'The Dark Knight' in Chicago and moved to L.A. shortly thereafter to work in post-production. After that, he left production to pursue acting full time.He resides in Los Angeles.
