John Michael Hastie is an actor, singer, and songwriter born and raised in Northern New Jersey. He began acting when he was 13 by creating improvised comedic shorts for his Global Studies class, which soon led him to the presence of the head of the theater department of his school. This woman encouraged him to perform leading him to play Romeo in "Romeo and Juliet", in his first equity role at Tri-State Actors theater, then on to graduating from William Esper studio and various on camera work. John enjoys playing music in his spare time, coffee/wine bars, and being in the Sun. A big dream of his is for the world to be a much more open united place.
