John Scalco was born on April 7th, 1976 in New Orleans, Louisiana. At the age of 19, Scalco got a funny feeling that Hollywood was calling his name - to join the fun & excitement of music & movie making and to take a leap of faith by following his heart Scalco decided to pack his bags and head for the West Coast, where he landed in Burbank, California.Scalco quickly found himself working on national commercials, hit television shows and major motion pictures with bit parts and Under5s, but always dreamed of bigger and better things.Dissatisfied with the direction his acting and music careers were headed, Scalco began focusing primarily on film. He was determined to learn the ins & outs of exactly how the business of making movies was done, in front of and behind the camera. Scalco got his start immediately as an intern with the legendary Freddie Fields. This intern gig helped Scalco get his next big thing - an internship with Sean Connery's production company, Fountain Bridge Films. Eventually, Scalco decided it was time again to branch out and develop and produce his own material.
