John Stimac is an American Actor and Operatic Bass-Baritone best known for his impressive vocal diversity and wild-eyed charisma. Established in New York City, John has been a resident actor for The Metropolitan Opera since 2012 where his vocal, classical theatre, and stage combat training reputation earned him opportunities working with internationally acclaimed directors such as Sir David McVicar, Phelim McDermott, and Bartlett Sher. John is also an accomplished Voice Over and Television Actor praised for his unique Bladed and Booming timbre.Hailing from Milwaukee, WI. John grew up and spent most his time as an Athlete in numerous organized sports. Music and Theatrical influences surrounded John and eventually led to his decision to change studies entirely and pursue Acting and Vocal performance at Nebraska Wesleyan University where he thrived in classical musical theatre.Some of his favorite Roles include Don Quixote/The Man of La Mancha, Cinderella's Prince/Into the Woods, Father/Children of Eden, Jamie Tyrone/Long Day's Journey into Night.
