John V. Ward comes form the small coal-mining town of Shamokin, Pennsylvania. A promising soccer player he earned a scholarship to Villanova University to continue his academic and athletic pursuits. While injuries sidelined his soccer career, they're also what prompted him to start acting and explore the passion for film he'd always had. Trying everything film had to offer, he was ultimately drawn toward acting because of the parallels he found it to have with soccer. Having discovered a new love and passion, the fall after graduating from 'Nova he moved to Los Angeles. John has appeared in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and the web-series LOST at da Jersey Shore, and will be in the upcoming horror/thriller Freshwater. A lover of all things comedic, he's trained in improv for 3 years and was a member of the improv troupe, Hotprov, which performed regularly at iO West. He is the proud son of Susan Vanaskie and Joseph Ward, and the even prouder brother of James and David.
