Jonathan Fuller is a native of Birmingham, Alabama and one of the first alumnus from the Alabama School of Fine Arts. Following his graduation from ASFA in 1974, he attended the Art Institute of Chicago's Goodman School of Drama, earning a BFA in 1978. From there his career bases moved from Chicago to New York and Los Angeles where he has worked in theatre, television and film. Following 9/11, Fuller returned to Birmingham and became the Artistic Director of the Theatre Arts Department of his alma mater ASFA (www.asfa.k12.al.us), a position he still holds today. He founded Birmingham's only Equity theatre company in 2006 (City Equity Theatre), where he still serves as Artistic Director.
