Joseph Salerno is an Austrian School economist and a professor at Pace University. Salerno's academic research in banking and monetary theory has often put criticized the Federal Reserve for its role in creating business cycles. In addition to teaching at Pace, Mr. Salerno is also a senior faculty member of the Ludwig Von Mises Institute. At the Mises institute, Salerno edits The Quarterly Journal of Austrian Economics.
