Born in Columbia, South Carolina USA she has always had a love for the arts. But she grew up playing basketball. She represented the U.S. overseas with a program People to People Sports Ambassador. She attended the University of South Carolina Aiken and Lehman Performing Arts College. She lived in New York where she modeled before moving to Los Angeles.
