A singer, songwriter, actor and television personality, Jully Black is involved in all aspects of the entertainment industry. Black is a sought after Canadian R&B star and has opened for the Black Eyed Peas, 50 Cent, Jay-Z and Usher. She was also featured on The Brown Sugar Soundtrack. In 2005 she shared the stage with Patti Labelle and Aaron Neville at the Montreal Jazz Festival.In addition to writing and recording her own albums, Black also wrote a song for Destiny's Child. Her songwriting credits also include work in the films The Fighting Temptations and You Got Served. Black has been nominated for numerous awards including four JUNO's.
