J.V. Martin is a voice actor known for his narration of documentaries and reality programs. He is a former documentary producer who got his start in voice-over when a Travel Channel executive heard the temporary narration track J.V. supplied for a documentary and then chose J.V. to be the actual narrator of the program.Prior to documentaries, J.V. worked in radio and television news in Los Angeles, ultimately as a director of live television newscasts. Born in Orlando, Florida, J.V. grew up in Los Angeles as the son of the late radio newsman/talk show host Jim Martin and still lives in the Greater L.A. area with his wife, Sara Martin.
