Kaily won the Best Actress Award at the 2009 New York Television Festival for playing the role of "Merrideth Weisman" in MERRIme.com MERRIme.com was originally conceived as a web series, but later was formatted into a 24 minutes, half-hour comedy pilot presentation.Ms. Smith also created, wrote and produced MERRIme.com, alongside her writing partner David Weidoff. Smith and Weidoff took home the Best Comedy TV Pilot Award for MERRIme.com at the Independent Television Festival in 2009.
