Karin Gist earned her undergraduate degree in English Literature from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia and her Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center. Karin practiced law for three years.Karin began her writing career on the CW's critically acclaimed sitcom, "Girlfriends." She started out as a writer's trainee in 2001 and soon earned the title of "Producer." Most recently, Gist co-scripted the Disney Channel movie, "Jump In." She is currently working on future projects at Disney.She is a member of Delta Signma Theta sorority.
