Ken Stachnik is a director, screenwriter, and cinematographer based in Los Angeles, CA. His work has been commissioned by major media and corporate clients, including Men's Health, Hewlett-Packard, and Porter Consulting. He is known for Clowntown (2016), Please Kill Me Again (2012), and Role Initiative: AD&D Musical (2011).Ken grew up in San Jose, CA. After college, he moved to Chicago, IL, to pursue his filmmaking dream and gain hands-on industry experience. While in Chicago, Ken worked with Columbia University's cinematography program students on more than 20 short films and served as photography assistant to portrait photographer Parrish Lewis.Ken has worked on more than 100 film sets, including low-budget independent films, music videos, and major studio projects for Universal, Bravo, and The History Channel.His short film Return to Grace (2011) won the People's Choice Award at the Elgin Short Film Festival.Trivia: Ken has watched one movie per day for the past 20 years.
