Unafraid to dig into various roles, while known for her humane, vivacious, bold, sweet yet powerful presence. Kendra Westwood, born Amanda Weise is a Canadian actress. She was born in Toronto, Ontario. She is an actress known for Exes and Ohs as Joey (2011 Television series) directed by Gary Harvey (Murdoch Mysteries), Lucifer as Fiona (2017 Television series) directed by Brad Tanenbaum (CSI: Crime Scene Investigations), Crash and Burn as the choir singer (2009 Television series) directed by Malcolm MacRury (Saving Hope), and Love Finds Its Way (2017 Movie of the week) as a soldier working along side Catherine Bell (Good Witch) directed by Gary Harvey. Kendra wrote, produced and starred in Let It Out (2017 short film) directed by Javier Badillo where she played Coco. The actress studied Creative Writing at the University of Toronto. She was raised in both Negril, Jamaica and Ajax, Ontario Canada. Born to Caribbean parents, she is of half Jamaican and half Grenadian descent. As a child she would perform at school and community functions singing, dancing, acting and reciting poetry. She was bitten by the acting bug as a youngster after catching glimpse of Tina Turner's biopic "What's Love Got To Do With It" starring Angela Bassett and Laurence Fishburne. She was also hooked on musical films such as "Grease". After graduating with a performing arts award at her high school graduation she was encouraged by her drama teachers to seriously pursue acting. She went on to study Theatre at Humber College in Toronto, followed by her enrollment at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York. While studying in New York she worked on her first Off-Broadway show. She later moved back to Toronto and began working as a touring actor for a children's theatre company. With a hit production in the 2015 Toronto Fringe Festival, Now Magazine hailed the actress for her strong acting in the play All Our Yesterdays presented at Factory Theatre, which received a Patron's Pick award. When not on stage or in front of the camera Kendra engages in her other creative outlets such as writing, singing, producing and making music.
