Kristy was born in Auckland, New Zealand. Her Mother is of Maori descent, her iwi is Ngati Haua and her Father of French descent. She was an accomplished tap dancer and model as a child, starring in live shows and commercials. She performed in theatre in college and moved to Wellington to study acting. Her first on screen appearance was on the hit television show Shortland Street. She then spent some years behind the scenes working for Screentime New Zealand before moving to Australia and freelancing at the Village Roadshow Studios. Kristy played Jodie in the feature film Still Waters which showcased at Cannes Film Festival. She was recently cast in the feature film The Butterfly Tree, staring Melissa George, Ewen Leslie and Ed Oxenbould.
