Laksmi Hedemark was raised all over the United States, Portugal, Thailand and India. Her father is of Irish-Norwegian descent and her mother is Portuguese. Laksmi has a twin sister and 5 brothers, one of whom has Down Syndrome. After moving back to the States from India at the age of 17, she began her study of the craft at The William Esper Studio in New York City under the wonderful instruction of Deb Jackel, Barbara Marchant, Jennifer Monaco, David Newer and Mr. Bill Esper and is now a dedicated graduate of his two-year Meisner program. Laksmi happily lives in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
