Laura Black
Laura Black is a classically trained actress who received a BFA from the University of Utah Actor's Training Conservatory program. While in college she appeared in a number of plays and performed at the Kennedy Center for the Irene Ryan awards. After college she worked at many regional theaters including the prestigious Shakespeare Theater in Washington DC. During her time there Laura was in the Helen Hayes award winning production of "Hamlet" directed by Michael Kahn and starring Tom Hulce. Other roles included Juliet in a touring production of "Romeo and Juliet", "Comedy of Errors" as Luciana, and Helen in "Trojan Women". She has worked at many theaters across the nation including Arena Stage, Washington Shakespeare - DC, PCPA, and Creede Repertory Theater. Recently she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her film/television career. She has appeared in many short films and commercials and played a supporting role in the feature film "To Save a Life" which opened in theaters in January 2010.
