Lawrence Hanray was born on May 16, 1874 in Hampstead, London, England as Lawrence Henry Jacobs. He was an actor and composer, known for Le chevalier sans armure (1937), Les Maudits du château-fort (1934) and The Good Companions (1933). He was married to Lois Grace Heatherley and Dorothy Mary Chambers Farnsworth. He died on November 28, 1947 in Marylebone, London.
