Film and TV Actor, Leon Hanson was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada to the parents of Norman Hanson, who is Swedish and Gerda Fokema, who is Dutch. Growing up with his one younger brother and one younger sister, Leon graduated from Ross Sheppard High School in 1985 and went on to attend the University of Alberta, majoring in Economics. He caught the Acting Bug while in University and also landed his very first Audition during his first year of study. He started Acting later in life after years of Success in Banking, his first few role's starting in 2004 were in Student Films and Low Budget Independent Films. In the short time he has been pursuing Acting he booked his first role on the Independent Film Abridge (2006) and Howard and Betty (2009)and he booked his first recurring role on the TV series Alcatraz (2012), next was Almost Human (2014).
