Leonard Farlinger is an award-winning director, writer and producer. He co-owns the production company, New Real Films based in Toronto, Canada with partner Jennifer Jonas. His most recent film as producer is Born to Be Blue (2015) starring Ethan Hawke and Carmen Ejogo released by IFC Films and eOne. His debut feature as writer/director, The Perfect Son (2000) starring Colm Feore and David Cubitt was nominated for 2 Best Actor Canadian Screen Awards. His other features as director include I'm Yours (2011) starring Karine Vanasse and Rossif Sutherland and All Hat (2007)_ starring Keith Carradine and 'Rachel Leigh Cook'.His other credits as producer include Gerontophilia (2013), Trigger (2010), Leslie, My Name Is Evil (2009) and Monkey Warfare (2006).
