Lewis was born on March 29th 1988 and grew up in Doncaster, moving around with his mother. Originally setting out to be a dancer, he took his mother's advice and enrolled at the Royal Welsh School of Music and Drama, graduating with a BA in acting. He made his West End theatrical debut in 'Our Boys' in 2012 and two years later became part of the ensemble cast of 'My Night with Reg', first at the Donmar Warehouse and at its transfer to the Apollo Theatre. As the youngest guest and the object of middle-aged desire at a gay men's party Lewis became the unwitting focus of controversy when posters for the play featuring his nude body were banned from the London Underground. After several minor parts in television dramas 2016 saw his most substantial role as the adoring and long-suffering side-kick to demon hunter Cara Theobold in the dark comedy-drama 'Crazyhead'.
