Lindsay is a professional actor, director, improviser, trainer and an alumnus of world renowned sketch comedy theatre The Second City. Lindsay and her partner Lee Smart provide creative services for the entertainment industry in Toronto, Canada. Lindsay began her career by training at The National Theatre School of Canada, graduating in 1981. She has been seen and heard in many roles on stage and in film, television, animation, radio and TV commercials. Some selected credits include The Prizewinner of Defiance Ohio, Ginger Snaps, Comfort & Joy, Coast to Coast, Tommy Boy, Three to Tango, The Wrong Guy, Brain Candy, & Mr. Headmistress.Lindsay is the founder, director of The Tim Sims Encouragement Fund, (a charitable organization administered by the Ontario Arts Foundation) which has supported up and coming comedic performers with an annual cash prize of recognition since 1996. She is the executive producer of Cream of Comedy, the nationally broadcast award show for the TSEF on The Comedy Network since 1998.Lindsay began teaching improvisation in 1989, and continues to work as a corporate trainer specializing in the application of improvisational techniques to improve business success. She also provides business presentation coaching services and training with PitchCraft.
