Lloyd was born on January 3, 1986 in New Orleans, LA. He has two siblings as well as a niece. His father was killed when he was only 3 years old. He and his family moved to Atlanta Georgia a little after his dad had passed. When he was 14, him and his brother Chuckie D were in the group N-Toon along with two other boys. Once the group had ended, Lloyd continued on with his own musical career. In 2004 he released his first album on the Murder Inc label. His first hit was with singer, Ashanti, on the song Southside.
